GEN Z COLLEGE STUDENT REACTIONS TO COVID-19

AND WHAT THIS MEANS FOR BRANDS

From April 8-12, 2020, Riddle & Bloom conducted a nationwide survey to understand the effect COVID-19 has had on Gen Z college students. The data referenced were gathered from 2,486 respondents following a near-
100% campus closure rate.

 

Participants responded from 48 of 50 states and Canada, and from the following class years:

  • Freshmen: 10%
  • Sophomores: 21%
  • Juniors: 31%
  • Seniors (4th & 5th year): 36%
  • Other: 2% (Graduate)
